Trophy Room is a mobile project space dedicated to exchanges between emerging artists living and working in non-major cities. Located within a 6’ x 10’ x 7’ cargo trailer, each exhibition features two artists’ work in conversation with one another.
It is a physical gateway for what social media provides artists: an ability to reach people outside of our insular networks, opportunities to engage in critical conversations with someone you’ve never met IRL, and the expansion of community.
Trophy Room is a connection space: a space for the exchange of art, artists, and audiences between its home-base and the places it travels.
Co-founders Perry Burlingame and Rebecca Forstater work in a collaborative curatorial practice & also maintain studio practices of their own.
