this must be the place

Featuring artists Laurence Hervieux-Gosselin and Derek Peel, This Must Be the Place delves into concepts of “Home” as it relates to the psyche. The two artists’ works bring to question perceptions of reality, privacy, isolation, and anxiety driven habits. 

Laurence Hervieux-Gosselin is a photographer based in Montreal and Syracuse (NY). She is currently an MFA candidate in Art Photography at the College of Visual and Performing Arts of Syracuse University.

Derek Peel Derek Peel is a sculpture and installation artist based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Trophy Room will be located in Pittsburgh and Syracuse over the course of December thanks to the generous support of Bunker Projects and artist/curator Amanda Struver.
